I just spent a good half hour writing a new post and then got some server error message so it vanished on reloading. natch.
well the gist is, I was really busy in April, and now? not. But I am. I have two deadlines coming up, so far. One is for a grant and the other is an artist-in-residence program. Sunday, the day after the Artpsace Gala, two days after the Artism class at Southern Connecticut State University, three days after shipping off the first printed and framed solargraph from the Parallax series (to an art gallery on Long Island for a show juried by alt-pro pro Christopher James) and a week after the Pinhole Photography workshop at Creative Arts Workshop, I started a new series of cyanotypes using some cool building salvage bits and pieces I picked up from Urban Miners in Hamden CT. How's THAT for a run-on sentence? If you're an artist in the New Haven area and like to work with found objects, you have to visit Urban Miners and spend at least a half hour digging thru the stacks, piles, and boxes there.http://www.urbanminers.com/ - Colin Burke Wrote this while listening to: Temptation ...
